Tautuku Bay actually has 3 scenic walks, of which Lake Wilkie is one (and the only one I’ve actually done). All of them are apparently easy walks and showcase the variety of plantlife around the bay. The Lake Wilkie walk has interpretive panels and a nice boardwalk, and of course features a viewpoint with a view of Lake Wilkie. The walk is supposed to be particularly lovely when the Rata are in bloom (November to January). We missed the Rata, so the walk was just a pleasant stroll among some greenery. A nice chance to stretch your legs, but nothing monumental.
