Ta Som is a small temple, but still worth a stop (especially if you’re on a jungle cycling adventure and need the break from the adrenaline rush of sketchy bridges and dams – more on that in the Ta Prohm post). Like its closest neighbors Ta Prohm and Preah Khan, Ta Som has been left largely unrestored, and restoration work consists mainly of attempts to stabilize the remaining structures. There is a single shrine enclosed by walls which are broken by two sets of entrance ways and two small libraries on either side of the entrance path.
