This is one of my favorite trails. I love trails that are great on their own but also have a destination. This destination is double the fun – the ruins of an old tin house are perched on a stunning hillside overlooking the pacific coast. The hike itself starts out going through the lovely cool depths of a redwood forest beside Partington Creek, then cruises uphill before depositing you at the Tin House. If you stay left where the trail goes uphill to the Tin House, you can follow the creek a bit further back to a nice little waterfall.
