It’s easy to find the Jubilee Mine if you drive through Nelson (which is kind of interesting town in itself – it’s often listed as a ghost town, but people still live here) and just keep your eyes out for mine shafts. It’s pretty noticeable. But if you really want the gps coordinates, or would like additional information on the mine, this website has loads of information, and also has details on other mines in the area. Jubilee is the prettiest (if you can get ignore the lamentable graffiti) and the easiest to explore, with numerous large shafts and chambers that can be hiked into and followed to their ends. Just bring a headlamp and poke around for a bit. The outside of the mine is fun for a little bouldering. We wore our Legends of the Hidden Temple shirts for bonus points.
