Red Tape/Notes: The park is open 24 hours a day; park passes are $30 per vehicle and are valid for 7 days. Parking is readily available for this trail – the parking area/trailhead are about 2 miles from the Kolob Canyons entrance to Zion.


One of the few official trails in the Kolob Canyon area of Zion, this trail is a pleasant and easy one, with only a gradual elevation increase over the length of the trail. The route passes a couple of historic canyons and meanders along Taylor Creek, passing through some interesting canyon rock walls before ending up at the Double Arch Alcove, which is a cave-like formation with interesting colored, striated rock.
