Renowned for the multicolored hues of the hoodoos on display, Sunset Point is one of the most popular stops in Bryce. If you don’t have time for any hiking, this is an easy stop (same goes for Sunrise Point and Inspiration Point) because you can drive right up and walk quickly over to the viewing area. If you do have time for some hiking, this is the starting point for the 1.3 mile Navajo Loop Trail, which descends from Sunset Point through Wall Street, the only slot canyon in the park, and provides great views of the hoodoo “Thor’s Hammer”.
