I fell in love with Zion the first time I saw it. There’s something about it that makes my heart feel like it’s too big for my chest. And that was before we fell in love with canyoning, which adds a whole new layer of joy to this place. The rest of the world has fallen in love with Zion, too, so it’s often very crowded. If you want peace and tranquility, you’ll need to get up early, head to a remote destination, or go in the off season. And if you want to camp, reserve early! Even braving the crowds is worth it here, though – from the flawless night sky to its soaring red cliffs and mysterious subterranean canyons, Zion is a very special place.
