Hellnar is an ancient fishing village situated on a beautiful rugged coastline, including a great little harbor with a notable cave (the cave is called Badstofa). It also has a very picturesque church building that’s often included in “beautiful Iceland” photos. We really wanted to explore the cave when we were here, but we were pressed for time and only had a chance to peek into the harbor and stop at the church before moving on.
