Skógafoss is on the scale of Seljalandsfoss in terms of visitors (there may be slightly fewer here, since it’s a bit further from Reykjavík, but there are still a lot). Skógafoss is another large waterfall than can be seen and easily accessed from the ring road, and again, like Seljalandsfoss, loses something due to the crowds. We had to wait a long time and choose our angles very carefully to get a photo without people in it. But it’s a quick stop to visit, and the falls are impressive (they’re 60m tall and 25m wide, and are absolutely roaring), so it’s definitely worth the time to stop. You can also hike up to an observation platform at the top of the falls if you’re so inclined.
