Similar to Icelandic horses, Finnish horses are adorable. They’re fluffy and kind of stumpy – like they were made for plowing through snow. Riding through the snow is extremely pleasant – it’s quiet and the world looks like a winter wonderland, and you get to see more of the countryside than you would on a hike. We would have gladly done a longer trek, but they were only offering a 2 hour outing so we took what we could get.
