Riding in a sleigh pulled by reindeer is kind of a holiday bucket list item. Every sleigh gets a reindeer, and there are two of you in the sleigh, and it’s quite cozy with your blankets and things, cruising almost silently through the woods (with the exception of your reindeer’s panting). Mid-way you get out and have a hot beverage and some cakes or other form of Finnish treat, then get back in and cruise home. The best part about the trip for us was that the sleigh behind us didn’t really stay behind us and the reindeer kept pulling up next to me, so I spent most of the ride with a reindeer friend cruising along right next to me.
