Everything about this chapel is classic California – from its mission (to nurture the spiritual journey of wayfarers of all faiths on life’s path), to its beautiful setting and stunning coastal views, to its fabulous style (it was designed by Lloyd Wright, who was obviously heavily influenced by his father, Frank Lloyd Wright). The chapel is situated amidst tall redwoods and set amongst 3.5 acres of landscaped gardens, and the chapel’s design, with its massive glass panels set in artfully placed wooden beams, does a wonderful job of integrating the chapel into the landscape. This is a great place to stop and take a deep breath and remember what life is all about.
