This cave is a nice little stop on the way to or from Caracol; it’s a small cave with a large mouth on both ends (very large…the openings are really quite impressive) and one central chamber with nice rock formations. The path to the cave is well-defined, with steps and stepping stones, making this a cave that’s accessible even for young children and older tourists. The chamber is only a quarter of a mile long, so it doesn’t take long to explore, and you can keep your feet dry, so the overall commitment is fairly minimal. Overall, a lovely stop allowing you to stretch your legs and experience a very pretty cave.
