Hot Glass and Warm Glass typically require specialized equipment that you won’t have unless you’re super into this sort of thing. Thus, all the projects listed here will generally require outside assistance in the form of a studio or workshop and an instructor to help you (mosaic work, on the other hand, falls into the “cold glass” category of projects and can easily be done at home). The plus side with hot glass and warm glass is that you aren’t investing in tons of materials and supplies that you’ll have to find a place for, and you don’t have to worry about set up and cleaning. You’ll always have to wait to get the final product, since it will need to anneal, but the waiting is actually kind of great because it builds anticipation for the final reveal.
