They have a variety of accommodations, from tents to private bungalows with en suite bathrooms, so you can afford to stay here on any budget – and if you don’t have the time to stay overnight (or are new to climbing and don’t want to commit to more than a day here), they offer half day climbing courses. Don’t want to schlep your gear across the world? No prob, they’ll rent you some. All the accommodations are located at the base of the climbing area, in a truly beautiful setting, and with over 320 routes (and more being added every season), there’s something for everyone – including routes that utilize their local cave (which is also an excellent swimming hole). Best of all, you can feel good about every dollar (or kip, if we’re talking local currency) you put into this place – they pride themselves on being a green establishment and making a positive impact on the local economy, both directly (by employing locals) and indirectly (through sales of produce and materials to support the resort).
