This is the land of stark and beautiful landscapes, rugged terrain where the Wild West once thrived. We’re constantly reminded of that history from the names of areas like “Robbers Roost” and the various abandoned mines and ghost towns that can be found scattered around. Still largely unpopulated (though thankfully less prone to marauding gangs of outlaws) these areas now offer excellent opportunities for adventure of all sorts amidst the breathtaking and varied landscapes that are invariably found across the southwest states.
