Napa Valley

Napa Valley

Epic Travel → North America → The West Coast → Northern California → Napa Valley

Full disclosure: we haven’t done a ton of adventurous activities in the Napa Valley. We definitely need to spend more time there, and I hope to update this post in the future with more intrepid stuff. I think we’re often heading to Napa just to relax and feel slightly cultured for once, so our experiences haven’t been particularly worth noting on this site. The activities listed here are, however, enjoyable and definitely worth your time if you’re going to be in the area. I wouldn’t call them “adventurous living” exactly, but hey, every one needs to relax every so often, and Napa is a wonderful place to do it.

Where to Stay

Churchill Manor B&B – this is my idea of what a B&B should be. Beautiful old home, warm and helpful staff, friendly guests, and amazing breakfasts.

Itineraries

We always combine a trip to Napa with a trip to San Francisco (see our San Francisco page for more details on that destination), although it certainly could be a destination of its own. However, you can do both Napa and San Francisco in a three or four-day weekend.
